So, as per our previous conversations, I decided to make up a list of rules.

1) NO wearing crap just because it comes from the closet. This is not the point of SYC. Still have to look fab.

2) Purchases related to work shoes are allowed; as these wear out like crazy and I can't control when someone decides to puke on my shoes. Again.

3) Purchases of accessories are allowed; but only if I do not have a similar item in my closet; as this would defeat the purpose of SYC.

4) Exceptions: consumables. Like nylons. Especially if I cat-sit the neighbor's cat. Enough said.

5) SYC will be over when I violate the rules ... or the end of clerkship (August 1st).

6) Further Exceptions: Three wishes. Three purchases I am allowed to make on SYC... will be ... well; we'll see

I violated #1 today. This is off to a bad start. HAHAHA. I decided to wear crap and decided it would still work because it came from my closet.

Tomorrow shall be a better day.
