I agree with Angie - better than Gap but not as nice as my premiums. That said, I do have a couple of pairs of Luckies and like them. I believe that Lucky jeans used to be nicer (and definitely more expensive) a few years ago though - I think they have lowered the price point and this corresponds with not as nice fabric quality, etc. My older pair is definitely a nicer fabric than the newer pair (they are the same style) and I like them better. I do find the rise a bit low for me these days though... I have the "Sweet N Low" style which is billed as a medium rise (despite the name) and still find it pretty low. Most of their other rises are even lower. I do have a very long rise/high waist though, so if that's not the case you should be fine.
Neither of my pairs really stretches out very much at all, even over several wears, which is nice.
I can usually find them at places like Filene's Basement and TJ Maxx for around $40, which is attractive too.
