I am almost petite on top, but not quite. I got one of these in Small - pretty true to size for me, but maybe more generous in the sleeve width than others. I *hate* tight upper arms and this one felt good - or it could be that it is 8% spandex. . .

It has the typical too-long-for-me sleeves that I will fold back or have shortened.

The body of it seemed a bit long at first, but I realized it is actually a tad shorter than both my True Religion and Express denim jackets that I like the lengths of . . . all are slightly longer than my slimmest waist point but above my high hip bone.

Oh, if you are near a Macy's that carries them in your size, my Macy's told me I could print out the web page (currently $59.99) and bring it in and they would match the price AND let me use a coupon so even less and no shipping. It ended up being a great deal!

You may want to check with Macy's first, but that was acceptable here in MN. Your printout would probably have to be the same day or so as they change prices online often.

I'm 5'5", but definitely short arms and a somewhat long rise.

I have pretty developed shoulders and arms, so those junior-style narrow sleeves cause me to size up or give up often.
