Angie's sit down test made me think about something I've noticed in "high rise" jeans and trousers over the past year or so -- items labeled high rise used to be reliably over my navel & up to the small of my back (and due to my short waist, often up onto my ribs and digging into my diaphragm when seated). But now I have three pairs of jeans/trousers labeled "high rise" that come just to my navel and well below the small of my back -- I'm wearing a pair now, the Warp + Weft MXPs: http://https//warpweftworld.co.....ging-steel
The front rise on these is around 11", which to me is much more in "medium" rise territory, but maybe my definitions are out of date.
Has anyone else noticed this?
