Hi Fabbers! Angie’s blog about green motivated me to pop in for some advice about color and contrast. I have come to understand that I’m a low contrast dresser. I prefer column of color/tonal outfits from top to bottom, with a slight bit of contrast in a scarf or pair of shoes. My wardrobe is full of gray, silver, black, cobalt blue, light blue, and navy. I love my wardrobe, it’s cohesive and it’s easy to dress in the morning. That said, I do love color. And, I don’t mind contrasting outerwear—one of my workhorses is a highlighter neon trench from Dries van Noten. I’d like to add a bit more color to my main wardrobe, maybe green. But I’m struggling to go about it. My few green tops are orphans and green bottoms are hard to come by. I have a pair of highlighter neon yellow-green pants by Rundholz, but there are only so many times you can dress like that. Any and all thoughts appreciated!
