Loving the cabled sweaters and corduroy for fall

Apologies to Angie, but I'm really excited about the colorful corduroy available this fall. It's a great way for me to add pants other than dark wash jeans for my very casual lifestyle.

It finally cooled down where I live, so today is the first day I get to break out my fall clothes.

Yep! I've been craving skinny cords since this spring. I have 2 pair en route that should come Thursday. I don't have too many chunky knits anymore but I envision the skinny cords with all kinds of tops, and finer gauge knits and little jackets with boots and booties. Can't wait!!

I'm loving corduroy too, though I'm into the skirt version. I've gotten one cord skirt so far and hope to get another this fall.

I broke out a thin 3/4 sleeve sweater today and I am pretending that it didn't warm up to summer temps this afternoon--sweater felt great this morning. I am looking forward to wearing boots, my black velvet jacket and my new corduroy skirt.
