Love21 sizing

I'm doing a bit of post-bday online shopping and just wondering...has anyone here tried the Love21 line? I'm curious to try this top in particular and was thinking a Medium should fit, but perhaps I should size up?

Actually if you look at their size chart they seem to run quite large. I would need an XS there. It isn't a junior's line like F21.

I have never tried the line, but that is a killer top! I will recommend to my teal-obsessed bff.

Maya, I generally size according to my largest measurement (my waist)...If I went by chest measurement, I'd need a S, but by waist size, I'd barely be a L.

Have I been reading size charts wrong all this time??

I haven't tried that line either, but I would go with whatever you normally wear in women's sizes. My measurements never fit right into a guideline either. I usually take into account the cut of the garment and the fabrication. If it's stretchy fabric or loose over your larger area, then I'd tend to go with a smaller size than if it's a woven or fitted over your larger area.

I do the same thing as Khris. It depends on the material, your proportions, the amount of stretch. Hard to say. I find most size charts run at least 2 sizes too small compared to the clothes for some reason but Love 21 appears to be accurate.

For regular Forever 21 I size up...usually I am xs-s, but I go with M. But with Love 21..they are pretty accurate, so I would suggest ordering your normal size is the best shot.

I would say they are completely true to size. I have actually bought a couple things from Love21 and found them to be that way. I did go to the store to try them on but now that I have done so, I would be comfortable ordering my regular size. I like the line and the concept!

Thanks for the input, girls....I just ordered two sizes to be safe. Hopefully, I can return them in a regular F21 store...will let you know how it worked out when the package comes in!

I am not absolutely sure but from what I remember I think you can return to a store for store credit but have to ship items back for a refund. Let us know how the top works out. Do you like the skirts you ordered from DownEast?
