Louis Vuitton vs Alexander McQueen

So I'm really torn between these two scarfs. The first three are Alexander McQueen and have skulls mixed in and the others are the Louis Vuitton classic scarf. What are your opinions ? I like the lv as it's classic but I kind of like the twist of the skulls on the scarf with the McQueen ?! Thoughts ?

I'm hugely biased because I'm spooky and stuff, but I LOVE the skull version! I think it's a really fun twist. If you love it, go for it.

I prefer the McQueen as well - very fun if you are a skull person and I don't love the magenta Vuitton splashed down the front, although I am guessing if you don't want to display that you could perhaps tie it differently. But that seems not to be the point.

I like both, but I prefer the Louis Vuitton. I love the touch of magenta.

I'm with echo. I have a classic skull motif scarf from McQueen in silk chiffon, and hope to have it forever. It's probably 10 years old now. That Vuitton is from the Stephen Sprouse collab, no? Can you even get that now? I don't care for his graffiti stuff, but that's just a personal thing.

Such a personal thing, isn't it? Given both are made of quality fabric and well constructed, with a pleasing color palette for the leopard, it comes down to personal preference. Both of these are iconic. I think McQueen was a genius and appreciate his oeuvre, but don't like the skulls on anything. Don't much like magenta either, but that can be tied to hide or minimize.

I like the LV because of the pink, which I think it pretty cool. On the other hand, the pink is not as versatile.

I can't help but love those McQueen skulls, and I like how they are subtle. I agree with smittie that the pink is cool, but probably hard to pair with other items.
