I've been on my diet and workout plan for 6+ months now, and it's becoming a lifestyle as opposed to a "diet" and "plan" at this point. I feel good, my husband is happy, I am stronger and have more endurance, and I love seeing the muscles in my arms.

The thing is, I am oddly bummed by my clothing not fitting "right." I built a wardrobe around my heavier body, and now things don't sit the way they used to, especially pants. My favorite jeans are saggy and falling off. Wearing a belt bunches up the fabric at my crotch, and having them tailored seems ridiculous because it's such a major repair I'm better off getting a new pair (even though they don't make my favorite pair anymore). Dresses fall wrongly - in fact, when I wanted to dress a bit slutty for a birthday dinner out, I couldn't. None of my dresses fit tightly any more!

I know we're generally socialized to be happy about losing weight, but I've gotta say, it can be strange.
