(Sorry, I know this should have been OT...)

Just read an email from my daughter who is up near San Francisco. She is thinking of (planning on? Not sure of her degree of decisiveness, though she is pretty decisive) moving down to L.A. Now that I have a community of the most fun and sweet women down in SoCal, I am so pleased to hear I might have more of an excuse to make trips out there. (We didn't visit her in SF once--she was too busy, apartment too small and she flew back for visits).

The downside is she'd be quitting her job (at Pixar!!!! good job, too) to work for Disney? Need more details.

And also, we just lent her a chunk of change for a car.

Oh well. She is pretty levelheaded and sensible.

Who knows--maybe I'll be out there this summer?!?
