ASOS romper and floppy hat.

I loved the romper but the pictures are giving me pause. Something seems off, although I really thought it looked good when I first had it on. I know, that doesn't help at all...

Floppy hat: This is quite the statement hat, and I'm a little intimidated by it. It's just so...big and floppy. I couldn't even contain the whole thing in my viewfinder :p Should I face my fears or send it back?

Love both! Not sure how much time you spend on the bus and/or subway. That's only where the hat would give me pause.

Face your fears - it's a great hat. Not sure if the romper could maybe use a belt?

The fit above the waist of the romper seems off. I can't tell if it's made for someone with a longer waist and less boobs, or someone with larger boobs, but the extra fabric makes me think it's not quite right for your body.

I vote face the fears with the hat. Even if you don't wear it all the time, you will love it on the days when you really need it (at least that's how it is with my big hat, and I don't even like wearing hats) and it's classic enough that it will last for years .

The thing about the hat is...you have to act like you're not wearing a hat. It really looks great on you - you can pull off a statement hat like that...but of course, if you're self-conscious about it, people will pick up on that discomfort.

I think both are great on you! You look fantastic. Keep the hat and never let it go. Wear it and know that with those big eyes the hat does not look over done.
I have made the mistake in the past of getting rid of hats. A hat is a work of art and I should have kept them all if not to wear, for the artistry of them.

I like the romper a lot and vote keep. The hat is fun, but is this for everyday in NYC or the beach? For the beach or boardwalk keep, but just commuting around the city, return, you will smack it against people in a crowd or on the subway.

The romper and the hat are super cute. I think the size of the hat makes it a bit edgy. It looks only slightly wider than your petite shoulders, so I think other commuters should be able to deal with that with the added bonus that it will be harder for them to get their newspapers up in you personal space, or doesn't that happen to you?

I like them both! What seems different (than my romper) is that the fabric of yours looks more stiff/woven. Mine is silk. I bet once it's washed it will be a little more giving. KEEP!

I love the whole outfit. You want some extra fabric in the length of the romper or it will pull in the crotch and be uncomfortable especially when sitting down. Been there.

Love the romper, the fit and the color on you - keep keep! The hat is great, too, maybe not for the commute but for leisure walks around the city and beach in summer. Keep both!

I'm not a fan of rompers on grown women, but this one looks cute on you, so if you feel good in it, keep. As for the hat, it looks attractive and is very on trend; more importantly, it will give your face extra sun protection. As someone who is now battling the damage caused by the sun in my 20s and 30s, I can't praise hats strongly enough.

I vote to keep both! I don't see anything off with the romper. The hat would intimidate me, too, but it just looks so cute with the romper... it would be cruel to separate them.
