Looks incorporating new things...plus a new skirt/dress

Hokay. Lots of pics, sorry!
Pic 1-3 is a new tunic/blouse that arrived yesterday. I like it tucked into a skirt (pics 1-3) but am wondering how it looks untucked, and under the vest I picked up awhile ago

I want to make the vest workable before I take the tags off.
I like the vest belted, but probably not with that lighter colored belt...
How does it look without a belt and the tunic untucked? Would skinny pants look better with the looser/longer top and vest?
Also, the shoes are new, and I'm torn because they are similar to my solid black sandals, but then again they aren't. O:)
Lastly, I tried this skirt but had to order a different size. Ana and Patience and I all tried them on and I can't remember who suggested wearing it as a dress, but I sort of like it. I love the skirt length it creates. I also like it long.
So my exact questions are:
1. Keep printed blouse/tunic?
2. How is it best worn?
3. Is the vest okay with it? with a skirt? would skinny pants be better? or a printed dress?
4. Shoes?
5. Thoughts on the skirt/dress?

to answer your questions...
1. yes, keep printed blouse
2. I like it best tucked.
3. I think you can make this work with the vest, but skinnies would probably be better than with the skirt. The vest would probably also be fab over a printed dress.
4. LOVE the shoes,. you gals who can wear those high heels are turning me green with envy.
5. I'm meh on the skirt dress. I like it better as a dress, but there is a bit more volume/bunching in the bust and waist than I'd prefer to see. The color is gorgeous though.

Love the vest and printed blouse outfits. I am not as excited about the blue dress as skirt, I think it could work with some kind of different top.

Sarah, in my opinion, these new shoes are the most flattering that you own. The nude colourblocking *makes* the shoe and softens the look. It's less severe that way. Does that make sense?

Now, you launched me into orbit with the dress, so I am forced to recover from your sizzling style quotient...

Keep the top! I like it best tucked with the skirt, but I think it will work untucked with the vest and skinnies, too. More shoe love. I don't care for the skirt/dress although the color is really nice on you.

5. Love the cobalt skirt as a dress! I suspect that we are Betsy Johnson bra twins from the pink bows (but definitely different sizes!! If we are twins, I'm the runt.) .

LOL Joy. After being a Chantelle-only wearer, I discovered Betsey Johnson bras and I LOVE them. I do wish more of them came sans bows, but they are fun.

I really love the blouse tucked and think it will work beautifully untucked with the vest and skinnies. And the cobalt skirt is a fun piece. Best as a dress, I think, but a good change as a skirt. And if you have to travel, two looks in one!

Um, I wish I hadn't seen those shoes, wondering if my husband would notice them on the credit card bill!! I need them! KEEP! Love the tunic tucked in, think I would like it more with skinny pants with the vest - perhaps your blue skinnies? And that skirt worn as a dres is to die for!

1. Keep-I like this tunic/top tucked in with the skirt.
2. I also like this top untucked with the vest, but would prefer untucked with skinnies to balance the volume up top with this loose untucked top.
3. I think skinny pants are good. A dress, perhaps over a form fitting dress with a belt?
4. LOVE those shoes. They do not remind me of your solid black sandals at all. These have less straps, are not a wedge and are two toned. Surely different enough to keep.
5. I like this idea, the belt makes this work as a dress. The elastic isn't uncomfortable styled this way? And it's fun as a skirt too. Perfect for packing light for a vacation.

Lisa, no, I actually ordered up a size so it fit better at the bust. I am wearing the wrong undergarment for it in the photo (a tee shirt bra gets smooshed weird, so I'd need to wear another one).

Ah good idea to order up one size, I'm storing this fact.

Would like to see the tunic alone untucked before I made a decision on the vest and skirt or skinnies.

I like the skirt as a skirt. I've seen you're outfits and I think you do much better than this skirt as a dress normally. It is fabulous as a skirt on you though.

I love the new blouse tucked, but untucked with the vest I find all the different lengths a bit confusing. I am not sure about it. I LOVE the shoes on you. I love the color and idea of the cobalt dress, but I feel there is a lot of volume on top. Perhaps I am just now with it, but I wanted to give my honest opinions.

The blouse looks nice both tucked in, and untucked with the vest. I don't think the belt with it does it any favors, as the vest, esp. the pretty back is a focal feature in itself. My question would be, can you wear two sleeveless pieces at once? In other words, if it's cool enough for layers, can you stand wearing no sleeves? How about trying a similar flowy tunic blouse with 3/4 sleeves with this vest/skirt combo?

The blue looks better to my eye as a skirt. As a dress = a fun look, but it's not showing off your pretty figure to its best advantage.

I'm still on the fence with the vest. Something cjh said has me thinking.
The vest couldn't be worn to work because I'd freeze, and I work M-F, and the vest might be a bit dressy for weekends. So it may not be as practical as I'd thought.
Unless I wore it with long sleeves, which doesn't seem to work in my head.

I've recovered.

Love everything, Sarah. I vote KEEP! Wear the vest over sheath dresses as an edgy jacket.

Okay, so that vest is off the charts--so awesome.....*sigh* oh, the possibilities!

And yeah, so that dress/skirt is gorgeous on you. Color, fit, versatility! What more could a girl ask for? Maybe for it to be free? HAHA. ;D
