I have seen a few women looking super stylish recently and a few things that were looking fresh and interesting to me...

  1. At our recent party, two friends wore different but fab bottle green tops, one was sheer with a cami under, the other off the shoulder. Being dark brunettes the colour looked gorgeous and very fresh.
  2. Full skirts- I used to wear a lot of A line and full knee length skirts about 10 years ago (patterned cotton, worn with fitted tanks and tees). I have been off this look but saw a woman wearing a full skirt, soft white blouse and flat sandals and I thought it looked terrific.
  3. Spring or summer weight long sleeve dresses worn with bare legs.....(I have three that qualify although one is black and a bit more wintery in feel)

As an aside, I ended up wearing the orange fitted 70s dress again, it was too cool for my new dress. I had a fab time and felt very comfortable and warm. No pics at all though!!

I have done a wee bit of shopping for spring/summer already
- tan flat sandals
- flared jeans
- straight leg jeans
- orange sleeved 70s dress with side splits
- teal green midi dress
- yellow floral tee
- cream layered blouse

My want list is a little long- here it is in order of priority
- long sleeve cotton or linen top to wear during the day in the sun
- black tank (maybe two as these are workhorses)
- lightweight jacket or cardigan (I have a lightweight cream and a lightweight olive jacket, a pattern kimono, and no cardigans at all)
- new sunglasses
- pair of summer shoes (I am yet to decide exactly what)
- Full midi skirt

Luckily last year I bought a bikini and three pairs of shorts so I am sorted here, and I am good for dressy sandals. I have a few party dresses, and I have a good blue jeans capsule.... Depending on budget the shoes and skirt are definitely wants not needs, whereas the long sleeved top and black tanks are definitely going to be workhorses.

Thanks - and suggestions are very welcome!!
