Looking for 'stand-alone' board shorts - can you help?

A lot of swimwear marketed as 'board shorts' seem to be designed to be worn OVER bikini bottoms, am I right? I feel like finding board shorts with the built-in undies is harder. Can anyone get me started? I like my skirted tankini 2-piece swimsuit, but would like a change.

Athleta!! They have lots of shorts options, most of them with built-in undies. They usually come in a stretchy fabric too. Just a few options, below.

Athleta has some swim shorts with built in briefs. I believe they are an online only retailer right now, but the website says that stores are coming soon (one to my hometown, yeah!). ooops, Jonesy beat me to it!

I was going to suggest Athleta as well. The third pair is really cute! Though I prefer longer board shorts for the rare occasion when I'm actually boarding, because I get all chafed.
