Earlier this week I started a thread talking about being inspired by Angie's classic ensembles and capsules lately. My style is fairly classic, with a heavy rugged menswear element (cowboy and james dean rather than tuxes and officers) and I like to incorporate a few ethnic pieces.

The thread was centered on how important toppers and accessories are to creating simple, purposeful/intentional looks.

I am afraid of purchasing accessories and not having them work together well to create that "style". So, I've largely put off purchasing watches, bags, scarves, belts, and even shoes!

I've decided that this season that I am going to take the plunge.

I'm asking for YLFs help for some shopping links or ideas for me. I want to create a cohesive look to add to tees and jeans, and plan on purchasing a few new tops and sweaters once winter hits in my area.

I do occasionally wear specs, and they are a strong frame, black and purple with a bit of silver on the front. When I am not wearing those, I wear contacts and usually have a pair of white gold and diamond studs inherited from my dear departed grandma in my ears. So, I figured silver-toned metals would probably be a good starting place, although I have jewelry in both and am not picky about bag hardware and belt buckles (unless I should be?)

I'm looking for a:
1) Mid-size crossbody bag, zip closure-- brown leather, orange or red, maybe black with the right distressing or hardware-- under $200 if possible
2) Jeans belt, probably brown leather-- maybe a second in a color or pattern or black-- okay with more or less studding/hardware
3) Scarves-- probably two that could be worn indoors and out, maybe plaid, maybe something southwestern or nature-inspired, combining black, navy, mid to dark greys, olive and forest greens, red, burgundy, ivory, orange, ect-- any or all of those colors
4) a silver-toned bf style watch-- also under $200 if possible

I could really use help making sure pieces go together.
