looking for some casual shorts (pic) for my body type

Hi - I have 1 pair of shorts!
I would like another pair of casual shorts that I can wear to the playground with my kids, to the grocery store or for a walk.

I am 5' 4" and my legs tend to be on the muscular side (I'm a few pounds heavier than I'd like to be as I've just weaned by baby). Right now I find the shorts I have are okay when I'm standing up but I feel quite exposed when I'm sitting down (they ride up).

Suggestions are most appreciated.

You look great and have great legs! Have you tried bermudas or clamdiggers? My favorite thing about them is that I can sit without feeling self-conscious.

I know some people shed the last few pounds with weaning, but I did the opposite too.

I agree with Cricket -- bermuda shorts and clamdiggers are the way to go! I just found a pair of Calvin Klein bermudas at Marshalls that would work great.

I also agree with the bermuda shorts. I found some really cute ones at Gap, and I saw some at Express and Banana Republic that were really nice.

I second the suggestion of bermudas from Gap. They are quite comfortable and a very convenient rise too.
