I've been looking for a yellow bag too. Macy's has some and Nordstrom has a few, but most are either too bright, too mustard or have too much hardware for my taste. Also, many are too big. I found the one below at Nordstrom and after thinking about it for three days, bought it yesterday. I love the color and it will go with my summer clothes. Also, triple points this week.

I considered it but it wasn't quite right for me.
I can't help with whether the Valentino type bag is over--perhaps someone else can, but I do like the one you posted.
