Just saw these on Nordstrom and wow, if you are looking for a red pump, don't pass these by! I can't believe such a great shoe in such a great color is on such a sale! I know, I know, 3.5" heel. But honestly, if you have never tried a Cole Haan Air, you need to. Just like it sounds.

DL, that's great advice... but they would be an irrational purchase... I have lots of other things in my nordie's cart that are a higher priority! I'll remember that option in the future though if something I want is sold out!

MG, another note on LiveChat is try to get someone from the Designer department. For some reason, they will check store stock and often find items. Meanwhile, the regular LiveChat usually tells me the online stock reflects store stock as well and they won't search the stores.

I admire your resolve to stick to the necessities. So what's in your cart?

Oh, how I love the look of these pumps, DL, but 3.5" even with the Air technology, and my regular, familiar comfort level at "kitten heels" or 2" status, makes me wonder if I'd find them comfortable or better yet, safe! That said, they would make anyone's legs look fabulous and the color is a perfect one for black, gray, jeans, etc.

I've got the turquoise and rio red seamed skirts, an Angie recommended Vince Camuto animal print dress and two pairs of microfishnets to allow me to wear these new clothes as it starts get chillier. Three little pieces of clothing add up quick... I know I need to pull the trigger soon before my sizes sell out.

MG, pull it and decide later. Normally, I am a proponent of waiting and making thoughtful decisions, but things seem to be selling out fast and merchants aren't reordering this fall. Not sure what is going on there, but I learned the hard way. I don't mind stalking returns for sale items, but at regular price it is too much work! And with Nordstrom's return policy and free returns, you can't go wrong.

I may be the only one in the world who does not like the Cole Haan Airs. I didn't think they were that comfortable and I just wasn't in love with the pair that I bough. Maybe I'd like them better in red .....

The shoes came! I love them. Very comfortable so far but I need to walk around in the house with them more to be sure. The color is not quite the bright tomato red I remember from the online picture, which is better for me. I have to run but will try to take pics this weekend.

Heh heh. When I was placing the order I realized that Nordies is now offering free two-day shipping to Level 2 members and up. Talk about instant gratification!

I think I misspoke before about the color. I was wondering if the shoes would be too tomato-y red for me when I ordered. The color is what I'd call a true red. I looked at the online pic again and on my computer it's a very accurate representation.
