Intermix's Fall 2016 Look Book just came out and it is a perfect illustration of all the fall trends Angie discussed in her blog post yesterday. Lots of interesting layers, shapes and beautiful textures:

I have noticed two interesting things:

1. They are showing lots of textured tights: microfishnets, lace etc., not only with skirts, dresses and shorts, but with cropped pants too, peeking a little when worn with booties or a lot when worn with shoes. Shopbop has also shown them a bit earlier when they discussed Pre-Fall trends, especially the Victorian ones. I like this idea a lot, especially with cropped pants, and plan to fully embrace it as it will make wearing cropped pants much warmer and more practical. I also intend to employ the trick of layering textured lace-y tights over sheer nudes for extra warmth. I am glad I can put the ridiculous number of tights I have to some use.

2. They also showing a good number of skinnies, most in interesting textures such as coated, leather, suede, and styled with very trendy tops. This provides excellent incentive to keep wearing mine.
