Long-sleeved layering tees

I find myself in need of some basic long-sleeved layering tees with stretch. Availability in petite sizes would be a bonus. Does anyone have ideas to share?

Angie recommended AT layering tees. They do carry petite sizes so they probably would carry petite layering tees too.

I got mine from Esprit a few years ago. They are not petite but I found them to run rather short. My arms are on the cusp of petite and regular and the sleeves just barely fit. I sometimes have to yank them down. The overall length is also a bit short. I did throw them in the dryer though, which I think is OK for layering tees.

Try the HeatTech ones from Uniqlo. They are technically 3/4 sleeve, but they look almost long-sleeved and might be perfect for a petite. (I am petite too but do not have petite-length arms or petite-width shoulders.) http://www.uniqlo.com/jp/global/L3/us/women.html

I sized up after reading reviews that suggested that they run a little small in the bust, and the size S is working very well for me. They are quite inexpensive. Only potential catch: you have to pay through PayPal.

Also, the pricing is linked to the value of yen and it seems to vary quite a bit from day to day.

Ann Taylor does have some great petite ones...in pretty colors and in such great fabric that won't shrink or fade:) You can get some with pretty details on the cuff or neckline also.

Land's End has some nice tees. The "Fit 1" is shaped and not boxy and they do offer petites. Sign up for their mailing list and you will get lots of email deals.

I bought some long sleeve tees...both v-neck and crew...from Eddie Bauer...I love the fit and they are well made...

wow, HeatTech looks awesome! i am looking for long sleeve Ts, too. are they too hot to wear indoors?

as for the lands end, ann taylor or eddie bauer, everything seems 100% cotton. i've always thought that would fade?

Nope, Ann Taylor has many layering tees in blended...streachable fabric..thus no shrinking or fading:)

I did get an Ann Taylor layering tee that is stretch and is working super well. I think the key is not to put it in the dryer! I definitely want to get some more.

Angie, I didn't see any long-sleeved tees. I only saw turtlenecks. Did I miss something?

I ended up ordering a couple from Gap. I'll report back and let you all know how they perform.

Becky - I like these Caslon tees from Nordstroms for layering and they come in a ton of colors:
