Long Full Skirts at Talbots

I just received a Talbot's catalog and they have a lot of full skirts. Regular sizes are 25" long, petites 23". I'm not sure if this is long enough for the people who were disappointed with the full skirts they were finding, but thought I'd pass it along in case it is helpful to anyone.

Oh that sounds nice! I've found a few Talbots items in thrift stores, and I love their quality, but when I stopped in an actual Talbot's store the other day I found I was sized out. The smallest size in regular is a four. And it's a pretty generous four due to vanity sizing I think. My thifted things must be older.

I think you're right, Claire. Online you can get 0's and 2's but the stores are a bit more limited in sizes, in my experience.

Yes, their sizing on line is broader. I recently bought two dresses from talbots at this longer length. I wear a regular rather than petite sizing and found their full skirts to be at or a little below my knee. One of the only places I have found this style in a work appropriate length!

Oh thanks for letting us know, Linda. I need them even a bit longer for myself, but 25" is really good for most ladies who are after a knee-length skirt.
