Loft top haul with Angie pick K/R

Hi fabbers!

I'm back with the Angie top from Loft she recommended for IT's (that's me).

1st set-I really like this but the stripes are off centered slightly. It's not that obvious in the photos so maybe that's not a deal breaker. I love the pattern and this seems super versatile. I have almost no pattern in my
closet so this would be a nice variation for me.

2nd set-this is the first turtleneck I've found in years that doesn't immediately turn me off. It's roomy and long so that's helping...what do you think.

3rd set-this seems like a dressy T-shirt and was discounted to about the price of t shirt also.

Thanks for your opinions as I really have come to realize you see things I don't! Feedback and total honesty totally appreciated.

Hi. I really, really like the first top. I looked hard to see if I could see the stripes as lopsided. I couldn't see it in the photo. I like the pattern, I like the fit. You look great.

I like the second top as well. I prefer it with the half-tuck because the proportions look better to my eye.

At first I did not like the third top at all. When I went back a second time I couldn't figure out why I didn't like it and then I kinda started to like it. I think my first impression had something to do with color. This color struck me as wrong for you, but the neckline is good for you.

Carole, I don't see the problem with the stripe matching, lovely pattern on this top and looks great!!

If the turtleneck is comfy on you it's a keeper.

Top number 3 is such a great basic, it's a no brainier to keep. I like it both semi-tucked and untucked.

I like all three! If the stripes bother you, maybe they have another one that has better stripe placement. I can't see it in the picture, but generally I notice things like that in my clothes and they bother me. It's probably OCD.

They look good semi-tucked, particularly the first two. The third strikes me as bit too large overall.

Thanks, Aida. I found the sizing all over the place at Loft this go around. Most mediums were too small in the shoulders, so large worked best, but I bet this last top would've worked in medium but it's sold out...at least it was last time I looked...better check again.

I like them all - especially 1 and 2. Semi tucking is fab on you but you could go untucked if you were in the mood

The first two look terrific, the third a bit less so but might be great under a jacket or cardigan if you wear those.

# 1 is just smashing on you
with the tucking. Stand- out special.

I like the others which are good if you need some basic neutral longer tops.

I also like the others, esp. semi-tucked. You are right that the semi-tuck is a game changer! I love wearing semi-tuck, too -- it really improved proportions on me as well.

Thanks, everyone, for your feedback. Ive decided to keep 1 and since I have no turtlenecks I can justify adding #2. I'm still undecided on 3...I will try a smaller size and the black and gray version when I'm across town next week and take it from there. Considering it was marked down to $12 it seems like I should just keep it but I'm trying to be super picky about anything I add into my closet!

Carole, I really like the 1st and 2nd tops for you; they are very flattering.

What I noticed on the third was that there seems to be some puckering around the placket. I like it on you, the quality just looks a bit questionable to me. I don't think it comes close to the others as far as flattery.

Ah, yes,, Susie...I see what you mean. Probably best I don't clutter up my closet with stuff that isn't great! Might still try it in a smaller size, in the other color and see if that's an improvement...thanks so much;)

1. keep - very nice
2. meh - just due to the colorblocking I think it reads a little boxy
3. keep - I like the flowy fit as is but that is in line with my own preferences.

I like all three, esp semi-tucked. Agree the way the placket lies in the last would bother me... see if it's a consistent thing and if it is, pass.
