Looks like I found some printed tops after all. LOFT's Fall collection was a inspiring to me since it was focused a little bit on French style.

1 and 2. I love this print of this top but thought I ordered a petite. Apparently not. The sleeves are way too long, and it's quite boxy as it is. I need to try a small petite.

3. Bomber jacket. LOVE THIS! The jacket fits me perfectly for a petite and not too heavy or light. It's gooditem for cooler weather. Not sure if I'll take to Porto.

4. and 5. Petite Kick cropped plumb jeans. I love kick cropped styles on me but am never too sure if the petite length is right for me. I'm 5'1" and my inseam is 27". The inseam on these are jeans are 24". The regular is 26.5". The question is: should I get the regular size instead of the petite?

6. Colored stripped tee. I think Angie had posted the black and white version of this. I thought this was a change up for me since I don't have this color stripes in my wardrobe. I like it but it's slightly boxy. I'm afraid it might shrink if I wash it. What do you all think?

7. Now that I'm retired, do I really need a blazer? It fits really well. Thoughts?

Nice finds! Love the plum jeans but for me personally I would prefer slightly longer. What a fab colour they are. The Tee is fabulous too, and will look good with those plum jeans imo. I would not worry about shrinkage, make sure the first wash is cold water and don't spin. It is not so snug that even if it shrinks slightly I don't see a problem. I am retired and hardly ever wear my blazers, even the ones I love. My weather and lifestyle may be very different to yours. The bomber does fit like a dream.

Loft has been a go-to for me in the last few years. I just bought one of their tops in a great green print. I love the color of those pants. For me, they would be too short, but if you love them, keep them. The bomber and the striped tee are just perfect. In my opinion, the blazer sleeves are too long, and that makes the jacket look a little big on you. However, it is a really great blazer. I have a glen plaid jacket like that and I wear it more often than i would have thought in retirement.

The blazer fit is long in the sleeves. Can't see the fit properly from the front. As for do you need one in retired life - if you enjoy blazers - why not, Naz!

Star - I have worn my black blazer with joggers and tee, and tennis shoes. Blazer really elevate even the most casual outfits. I think I'll just stick to my black one and return this one.

Roberta - I do like them but I need to try on the longer length just to see. I am sending the blazer back.

Angie - I'm definitely sending the blouse back for a smaller size, along with the blazer. I have a feeling I won't be wearing it as much as my black blazer.

#1 - Pretty top, I hope the petite version works for you.

#3 - Great bomber jacket, I don't see why you can't bring it to Porto. I know I'd want to have some of my favorite pieces in my souvenir photos from things I saw while sightseeing.

#4 - I like the length here and this color is lovely for fall.

#6 - The striped top looks fine to me, but I don't mind a boxy fit. It's a nice change from form fitting pieces.

#9 - I adore blazers so I am biased. I prefer a blazer or jacket to a cardigan on most days. If you'll wear the blazer, then why not? But if blazers say "work" to you, then pass on it. Or maybe try a more casual style blazer. I got this one from NAS and it's quickly becoming a workhorse for my causal lifestyle.

Overall you have some great finds from Loft, nice job!

I like them all! I do think the blouse is my favorite, though a petite fit will be better! I love blazers and blazer-type jackets, personally. That said, if it feels like work, and that isn't a good feeling, I would return it.

I like the jeans as is, but I almost always err on the side of a little extra length. Would you wear them more with flats like this, or with booties for cooler weather? That makes a difference for me.

Kate - I've decided to order the longer length of the plum jeans.

Lisa - I have to figure out what I'm keeping in terms of sizing and length. I think I will keep the striped top since it's cotton and may have some shrinkage later. Blazer will be returned since the sleeves are too long for a petite. I'm not a fan of relaxed blazers. I prefer a more structured blazer.

Jaime - I hope I have room in my suitcase for my bomber.

aviciennia - looks like the bomber is coming with me to Portugal.

Ket - That the reason why I'm returning the blazer. I don't want to feel like I'm going to work now that I'm retired.

Janet - I have a teal blue velour blazer I got last season which would look with a graphic or concert tee. I've ordered the plum jeans in a regular size just to see how the length is. I'll do a comparison once they get here. Also, I probably would wear booties with those jeans during the Fall/Winter season.
