So, I recently posted that I found myself dressed in Macy's pants and Loft tops several days of the week. Loft pants were an exercise in frustrations, because, well, the KNEES were too tight, or loose and bunchy with too-stretchy materials. Horror!
I did, however, notice a cute pair of cropped lighter wash jeans on the sight. And, as is often the case, 40% off strengthened my courage to give 'em a go. Loft, in a victory of fashion diplomacy, crossed the border, successfully fitting my bottom half!
Straights are essentially my skinnies, but this fit is easy and comfy. The fabric undoubtedly has polyester, because they feel like pajama jeans. This may affect longevity, but the fabric is a nice (not to thin and not too thick) weight. The slits at the sides are a great touch (hard to see in my photo).
If you are a pear or rectangle, you'll need to size down. There's lots of room in the waist and belly in these jeans --- I needed all the room in the bu-thigh area, however, so I stayed with my usual size.
Now, if I could only try the Riviera Pant in teal --- it's out in my size. However, these jeans restocked my size, so I'll keep checking in!
