Little white dress?

I was searching for a white lacy dress/blouse in the local stores for a while, but I wasn't successful.

Now I've seen that Zara has a little white dress and since I'm back to Berlin next week, I could look for it then.

It's this one:

But I'm a little unsure about it. Does it look "frumpy"? I could see this with my cognac colored wide belt and some colorful accents to toughen it up a bit.

What do you think? Yay or Nay?

Asrid - From the picture, the dress does look a bit frumpy. However, I think the suggestions you've made would make it totally fab. Therefore, I vote Yay!

Why not try it out! Zara is doing some very nice dresses this year, you might find something else you like there.

Mmh, I think I'm going to go and try it on.... and maybe show it to you. I'm just so unsure because it's a type of dress I would have worn some time ago, too, and not in a good way.

modgrl, you're right - they are many nice dresses at Zara at the moment and I will definitely try a few when I'm back in Berlin (at the moment I'm in the back of beyond).

Lynne, I really like it (and there are several Mango stores in Berlin), but it's 70 € and that's a bit much for me, for a dress like this.

I have the Tracy Feith for Target dress that got reissued recently and I love it! http://www.target.com/Tracy-Fe.....tailbutton
Mine has a gold zipper, I don't know if this picture is just off or if the reissued one came in a silvery blue?
EDIT: I just read the reviews and they say the zipper is gold. Must be the pic is off. Oh, and this is lined and quite a heavy construction, so no see thru issues at all. Has pockets, too. I bought a 5 (34.5-26.5-36.5)

It does look odd on the model, but I think the waist hits her too high. Might look better on you!

I prefer the Mango dress by 1000%. I am concerned the Zara one would not be flattering. But there is only one way to know for sure.

I love the zara dress also it will look great with gladiator sandals and a denin jacket! It has a boho vibe!

So, I tried the Zara dress on yesterday, but it didn't went home with me. The waist was too high on me which made me look a bit awkward in it. But I did buy a striped blazer, pics follow tomorrow!

That last Zara dress is really pretty. I think you are an hourglass (like me), so maybe you should try belting it (red belt? ok, I have an obsession with red lately), but it is lovely!

rute, I really like the dress, but I've already tried it on and the cut is not for me...

airin, I'm a pear. I love to belt, but with cut like this the bottom half of the dress is always too tight for me. If I size up, the top half is to big.
