Links/ideas for shorts?

Hi. I'm wondering about what kind of casual shorts are appropriate, flattering, and stylish for someone in their upper thirties. Knee length? Mid-thigh? have no idea. I'm on the shorter side (5'3"), so I'd like them to be flattering for my height as well. If anyone has some links they could point me to, I'd really appreciate it!

Mid thigh seems about right for the most flattering. Where are you thinking of going in these shorts? There are shorts for work, shorts for yard work, etc. if you know what I mean...

Thanks! I'll look for mid thigh. I'll be wearing them to the park with my family, walking to town, casual outings with friends, that sort of thing.

Mid-thigh or knee length should be fine. For me it depends on how warm/hot it is, the warmer, the shorter! But not shorter than mid-thigh.

I think that the longer shorts (as already mentioned) are supposed to be the most flattering for shorter people (I am 5'2"). However, I bought a bunch of short shorts last summer, before I knew this. :^) I am 40 and don't think that shorter shorts are a faux pas based on age alone. I would say it depends more on your comfort level.
