Linen jacket - Keep or exchange? ETA outdoor pic

My jacket came!! I got a petite small. Here it is zipped, unzipped, half zipped lol. I often have armhole and sleevelength issues so I thought petite would be a good choice. Is this a decent fit? Should I be thinking of exchanging for an xs instead? (ignore the shorts - it's just what I had on when the mail came)

Jonesy, if you are around - does yours fit similarly?

Does it feel like there's too much extra space? It looks good to me, but it can be hard to tell from a picture with fitted items. I think you were right to chose the petite size!

It's a bit hard to see, since the pics are so dark...It does look a little roomy...Are you planning to wear it as an outer layer, zipped, or as a layering indoor piece, unzipped? I got a medium, which is unusual for me (I usually wear a large in jackets), so just going on that I would think an XS might work a bit better for you.

I would likely wear it as a light layer over other tops both half zipped and unzipped. I feel there is extra fabric under the arm/at the bust. I often have that 'low armpit' feel with tops and jackets though so it's hard for me to judge. Hearing that you sized down makes me think maybe petite xs would be worth a try. It hits just below my hipbone on me right now in petite small.

Odd, in all the indoor pictures the fit looks good but in the outdoor picture, it looks big. I would go with Jonesy's advice.
