I'm interviewing for a new job next week... pretty formal and although I know the environment won't call for it, I suspect it's best to wear a suit. And I don't own one, at least one that is not blackwatch or galaxy print. I can put together a black sheath dress and blazer. Also, I don't have dressy shoes or boots. Since we are knee deep in snow, no one is going to blink at boots, but how could this have snuck up on me?

Just griping as my only solution will be if I can find something at Nordstrom or pull a miracle out of my closet!
