Ponte knit is a very thick, very tight, smooth kind of fabric. It has a bit of stretch so it moves with you. But because of the thicker fabric, it is very kind to those of us with a few jiggles. Many knits show every flaw, but not Ponte knit.
It's smooth fabrication makes it office appropriate.
The higher quality the Ponte knit, the better the qualities above.
My Ponte pants are extremely comfortable. Not quite yoga pants comfortable, but very close. I'd love to find work blazers that comfortable. A Ponte blazer won't be as dressy as a wool one, but a wool jacket in my office might have people asking if you're interviewing somewhere. We're just not that dressy.
