My response it a bit like Irene's - as in hope it isn't me and if it is, would prefer to know. I am not as good at either writing on other's threads or getting back to my threads as I'd like - that is a combination of being on the other side of the world, not being  good at phone typing and way over thinking my responses.

i don't block, but I am on here far, far less than many of you, so I only read about 6-10 threads a day. In the early years of the forum I read everything but those days are long over. But I don't really choose threads on the basis of people (except to try to make sure I see all the Australians' threads) -more on the topic. And I read more of the tabs I like.

For most of us, YLF is our "guilty pleasure" - a place where we come to enjoy each other's style company. If blocking someone who interferes with that pleasure makes your participation better here Mo than I say block away.

My first response to this thread was a paranoid 'yikes!' Like Irene I guess?

Reading further, I am wanting to thank you, Mo, and Greg, and others who commented on how they use the Watch and Block options in more positive and productive ways than I had imagined. Some good ideas all round on streamlining views so it's not overwhelming and impossible... I have been missing even seeing some regular faces because I am so pressed for time and hardly participate in WIW threads any more because my brain barely can form another word some days. So thank you for the ideas.

Mo: I think uniformly people have said whatever is better for you and your peace of mind and I totally agree. I think also that given the 'people stress' of your job even more reason for this to be a warm and welcoming place for you.

Greg !!! What a great way to put it !! Thanks !!
