you know, it's a good topic. Mine is a faux fur, flattish, classic shape. I love it and rarely wear it. Part of it is time of day. I get up early and go a lot of places in the morning, for choice. I don't think it's a good look for morning - kind of walk-of-shame-ish.
The real question is what kind of everyday clothes does it go with? It either looks like playful college girl - like the picture with the loafers - or it can look awfully rock 'n' roll wannabe. Like: I shop in flea markets while I'm waiting for the band to set up.
I think it is easiest to wear when it is leopard printed fabric and is then just a chic print. Or Carine Roitfeld is doing a collaboration with Uniqlo, it might be, and she advocates a very dark greyish, blackish leopard. Very dark and it makes it more like a texture.
