Length of shirts - kind of a rant/wish

You know how most brands will list the pant/jean rise on their websites or hangtags? I wish that we could get that information up front on tops. How long something is is from shoulder to hem at longest point.
We all need a different length for torsos and it would really make shopping easier.

I have no idea who to petition for this though.

Brilliant idea Christieanne! And as someone who just makes 5 feet, this is super important. So many times I'll order or try on a blouse/sweater and it comes to my knees. Now with online ordering being so prevalent, this would be a huge timesaver for many.

I have the low breasted/short waisted thing (and am only 5'5" so not THAT tall in first place) and half the tops on market are tunics on me. And tunic is not always/usually what I want.

Exactly! And good luck tucking in anything that long 'cause you just end up lumpy and bunched up!

Agreed! I am also 5' 4" with the low bust/short waist, but I need higher armholes to add to the mix. Sigh. EBay is good for this because you can ask for specific measurements. And a few sites (mostly those that skew younger I think) will list shirt length, but it sure would be nice if more did.

ah, of only we could have that info-I am also 5"1 so the lengh of shirts always frustrates me. I also wish I could have sleeve lengh info because a lot of shirts have sleeves that are too long on me and I almost always have to tailor it or roll it up

No kidding! I'm also part of the low bust/short waist club, and add very long rise and large breasts to the mix, so frequently I'm trying tips or dressed that are made for someone with body parts in different places than mine.
