I had purchased the Leith pants in the bigger size (M), hadn't worn them yet (the weather has been too cold) and then they became available in the smaller size (S). My problem with the bigger size is that they are too big in the waist (they sit slightly below the waist, which is where they are supposed to sit I think) - even tied as tight as they can go, they are still too loose. Not loose enough to fall down, but too loose. The smaller size fits perfectly in the waist area. I can comfortably wear both sizes on my hips for a slouchier look.
Which size should I keep? I don't want to look like I'm wearing loose -fitting pants that are a size too small, but my bagginess threshold is low.
