Legitimately attractive vegan footwear (at not astronomical prices)!

I know there are some other people on the forum who purchase vegan footwear, so I wanted to share my most recent find. Cri de Coeur Ethical Footwear, which has some really fashionable and pretty vegan shoes (of various heel heights). A lot of the shoes are on sale (the majority), and the prices aren't that bad! I constantly struggle to find really attractive vegan footwear that isn't ridiculously expensive, so this is exciting for me. If anyone is interested, I'll report once I order and get to try a pair.

I've never tried vegan shoes before, and these are wildly inappropriate for the wet weather taht's looming up ahead for my neck of the woods, but I am intrigued by these shoes: http://cridecoeur.myshopify.co.....wedge-nude

please pardon my ignorance, what's the difference between faux leather & vegan? Are there any animal products in faux leather shoes? I'm curious as I always thought they are the same?

Srujuna, I loved those as well! Since I have a ton of sandals and the weather is getting colder, I held off. But I might find myself tempted.

Cloud9, I think that generally faux leather and vegan are the same, but I just use the word vegan for ease. Also, you can sometimes find shoes that are made with a faux leather upper, but then have a leather sole. I also think that it's possible that some glues used to make the shoes might not be vegan, but I haven't really spent time looking into that. In general, if I find a shoe I like and the label indicates that all components are man-made, I consider it vegan.

Lisa, I'm glad you like them. Just FYI, but I ordered these two yesterday:

And these, in the very last pair. http://cridecoeur.myshopify.co.....strap-pump The heels are shorter and thicker than I usually like, but I loved the color and thought they might be good shoes for when I have a ton of walking and don't want to scrape my thinner heels in the grates on the street.

Isn't this Natalie Portman's line? I always thought it was fabulous but, as usual, couldn't find anything that would work for my PITA feet and skinny calves. Sigh.

Cri de Coeur is not Natalie Portman's line. Natalie Portman did a vegan line with Te Casan, but Te Casan went out of business a couple of years ago, and so went her line. I'm really surprised I hadn't heard of Cri de Coeur before because I spend a ridiculous amount of time looking for vegan footwear online, so this is really exciting for me. I feel like I've won something!
