Leggings for petites: update (with pic)

Can't find the original thread but wanted to post an update. I finally got my Arden B leggings in the mail. If you are petite and looking for cropped leggings that fit perfectly with no alterations necessary, these are it:

The side snaps are a cute detail, but be aware that they are not functional. I.e., I can't unsnap them and wear them open like Angie's zippered leggings. I could probably cut them and have a tailor serge the seams if I wanted to wear them open, but for now I'm just tickled I could find a pair that fit!

They are opaque. I have yet to wear them out of the house but have been lounging in them at home this weekend and they are comfy.

This is with the F21 top. I would NOT wear this combo out of the house - the top isn't long enough. I was just wearing it to kick around the house and lounge in the hammock in the backyard.

My goal is ultimately to wear the leggings with this dress:

I was worried it would be too much black, but I'm hoping the snaps add just enough interest it will work together. What do you think?

Shiny, Can you tell me what the rise is? Like you, I am petite but also need a very low rise which makes finding bottoms rather challenging.

elpgal, the rise on the small measures 8 inches but since they stretch I pull them up higher than that.

Kristen, I did cull out most of my shorter dresses and skirts last year, so I don't think there will be and endless parade of outfits I can make with these. Just a few I have in mind. Also they are really comfy just for lounging around at home!

By the way, I did see zippered leggings (with working zippers) at Marshalls this weekend. They looked exactly like the ones Angie has, and the quality was better than your regular knockoff.

There was no doubt in my mind that you would be able to pull off leggings Shiny! And you do! No, that's an understatement, you rock them!

I hope we get to see a picture of that gorgeous dress paired with the leggings (the buttons are such a fun detail) soon.

The purple top looks amazing too, by the way.
