I got my package from LE today and thought I would share.

I was going to crop out my face. I haven't had make-up on since surgery two weeks ago and just started leaving the house a few days ago. That is my excuse and I am sticking to it.

Okay so here are the front, back, and crotch pics. I did the crotch pic to show that they are dropped but not extreme.

So are they baggy, slouchy or just meh? Honesty is great.

I think they look great. Nice slouch, but you dont have the droopy butt that sometimes happens with slouch jeans. Hope you're feeling better soon! You still are beautiful, btw

Oooh. The color is great, but I'm not loving the fit, Dianthus, sorry. They look somewhere between fitted and baggy, kind of like the pants equivalent of mom jeans. And I know you're too fab for that! The pinching photo is cracking me up - only here on YLF!

My reaction is similar to Una's, I'm afraid. I would be curious to see them styled summery like the LE pic - rolled up and something lighter and looser on top.

I'm afraid that to me they don't look like the modern interpretation of slouchy or even baggy or BF. However, I'll bet they are comfortable. I think it is the fit through the thigh and even leg that needs to be tapered even ever so slightly in order not to look like my old LLB and LE chino's--which might come around again eventually. My "eye" has proved faulty on any number of occasions, though, so you may get other opinions.

LOL. Too funny. I actually quite liked them for a few reasons. They are a looser fit but don't feel I'm at risk of losing them, they aren't tight in the thighs which is a trouble spot for me and the flap pocket keeps my bum from looking too flat.

Ii was actually considering ordering another pair.

Do you think pic #1 is an accurate shot of how they drape on you? From #1 it looks like they are really fitted in the hips and that the rise is too short, but then I see you showed that the crotch is dropped. Strange. They look good in pic 3 with the crotch point pulled down IMO.

The front shot in #1 is what put me off of these pants on you. IRL and with movement things can look so different.

I am totally okay with the opinions. I do find that pants don't photograph well and they are not as baggy as is the current trend. If I wore pants that loose, my lack of caboose would result in the dreaded full diaper look.

I will try them on again tomorrow and then decide. They did look nice in the deep bright yellow though and I like to find ways to incorporate yellow into my wardrobe without it getting anywhere near my face.

Dianthus, I can totally see how they would feel very wearable, comfortable and forgiving on trouble spots (not that I see any)... I just don't think they're "on trend" which is what I thought you were hoping for. I think styling and trendy colour ie/ the yellow could help.

I wonder how they would look rolled up and with a more neutral coloured belt? If you were thinking of buying more they must appeal to you on some fabness level. Try styling them a bit differently before throwing in the towel.

I think it might be the light casting its naughty shadows in front. Plus, perhaps you can wear a black belt, Dianthus?

I think these cuties have potential and would love to see another photo.

It is all in the name of serious research. After all, if decent or at least acceptable slouchy trousers can be had at LE, there will be a lot of happy YLFers.

Yes! More pics! My first thought is that I'd like a higher rise on these, but I'm just trying to build my "slouchy fit" eye, so take it as a beginner's view! You, as always are lovely!

And, I think we need a comfy weekend post!
