Le sigh. Finds I love from my shopping trip today

New purchases:
1. green military jacket from banana republic. Quite spendy, but it was perfect and I feel good about buying it.
2. Pink/red patterned blouse from Banana Republic.
3. Skinny jeans from the gap.
4. Gap long and leans--I joined the band wagon!

I'm very happy with these. The jacket was WAY more than I would normally spend, but I thought about it, realized that I would actually regret not getting it. Since I live in the northwest, I wear jackets 9 months out of the year it makes sense. Also, I just don't come across items that I love this much.
Love the skinny jeans, am very impressed that I found these at the Gap. The long and leans are great, need to get them altered, and I can never go wrong with a blouse. Blouses are amazing and have become part of my "uniform".

Are the L&L's in the first pic? They do look a smidge long to my eye - is that what you're getting altered? Have you thought of washing them before you get them hemmed to see what that does to the length? I LOVE the skinnies - gorgeous.

Can you post the blouse without the jacket so we can see it? It looks lovely.

The jacket looks cool, but the belt doesn't work with it to my eye? I love the colour and cut, I can see it being a go-to workhorse in your closet!

Yes, the L & L's are in the first pic. I will definitely wash them first before altering, maybe I'll be surprised and won't need to alter them. I'll try to post a picture of the blouse later. Thanks for the compliment on the skinnies.
Oh, and the belt for the jacket is a ribbon that came with it. I thought it gave it bit of extra color/visual interest, but maybe it's better without it. I appreciate the feedback, and will give it a second thought.

I love the jacket! It may have been pricey, but I bet you'll find it's a great investment.

I find my Gap jeans shrink 1/2 inch after washing. A pet peeve for me since I get the short length then they become jeans for flats for me. But that may be just the amount you need with those heels.

The floral print under the military jacket is perfect. I love the contrast. Love the simplicity of 3--very striking! Great purchases--you look gorgeous in all!

Just purchased these Soffts as my go-to summer sandal. They should work with all of these outfits. So excited for these to arrive. Now for a serious break from shopping!!!

Definitely wash before you alter. My L&Ls are forever too short now. )-: They look great on you! I would leave the ribbon off the jacket. Love the skinnies, too. They look great with heels.

Glad you like the Gap jeans! I work at the Gap and the Always skinny jeans are my favorite although I didn't think they would be. The jeans will tend to stretch out a bit especially in the lighter wash. I think the jacket is perfect with jeans and heels as well and that is a look I would totally love for myself.

Thanks Jenava for the recommendation. I washed them today on cold and they are air-drying now, will see how they fit tomorrow! I would love it if they shrunk down a bit. Too bad about yours. Jeans are so finnicky! I can't tell you how many I've bought that change after laundering. It helps that I don't heat-dry the heck out of them anymore, but they still stretch out and change in the most unique ways.
And, sounds like I should leave the ribbon off. Really appreciate other eyes to recommend this!
