LBD and necklace shoot-out

Here is the LBD with the 2 necklaces. # 1 and 2 are the more lucite-y necklace , and #2 &3 are the rhinestone gig. Still to not have my fab-vision clutch in sight, but at least the brain waves are flowing so that it might turn up. I'm on-line averse for handbags, to some extent, because they're so tactile--I like to see IRL first-so I couldn't quite pull the trigger on some to ship for review.

Thank you so much for comments! I loved it in the store but then was afraid it was too "predictable".

I like both, but can use the less dressy one for other occasions--even with the same dress. Both of them have something I really like--a fairly long (? 2 " or so) adjuster chain in the back. For me, that really adds to the number of times I will wear any one necklace because it lets me adjust for small changes in clothing neckline, as I am kind of fussy about where a necklace falls in relation to that.

I like the way the colours of the first necklace break up the all black outfit, so I guess I'm the odd one out. The second necklace is more traditional to my eye, but I agree that it is dressier.

No luck with a clutch?

I love both necklaces, myself. I must have missed your earlier post, because I don't know what kind of event this is for. I would love to see a shiny clutch in gold tones to match the first one, and add a little richness to the colour palette of the whole outfit.

Oh my--both pistols are still blazing, and no one has fallen! I guess that's a good problem to have, right? It means I should be able to re-mix accessories and have fun with the dress if I would determine to get out more!

Thank you Angie for stirring the pot! It's such a little thing, but I really do like them both, for different reasons and in the end, no one will write home about it, so I will resolve to have fun either way. No super-clutch yet and only a day to go. I have only myself to blame, for being slow to get in the right frame of mind and also to commit to a style. But I'm still energized to keep working on this capsule over time and meanwhile use one of the ones I've got if need be. If I got a clutch that was only good for this one evening, it wouldn't be a very good CPW! Thank you suz, kirti, gaylene, jenava and JR. I may have to toss a coin or see what comes up, or maybe a last-minute clutch miracle will decide the fate.

Both good options! The second looks dressier but more conservative (it's a really beautiful necklace, by the way!) but I love the dash of lightness the first gives. Tough problem to have, really
