I have a couple from Club Monaco that are very tight in the neck and are slim fitting in the torso. They are called the Julie turtleneck. The ones I have ran really small. I'm not sure if they changed the sizing for the newer ones.

Several years ago, an Angie pick for an essential t- neck was a top offered by Express. They were very inexpensive on sale. I still wear them and the neck has not stretched out. I think the fabric is rayon or a rayon blend.
Have you tried Old Navy? I got a thin t- neck there to wear under an itchy wool sweater a few years ago. It has held up well.

JCrew has some nice thin cotton turtlenecks that I wear as layering.
I have the same issue as you with itchy turtlenecks and also wear thin layering turtlenecks under them.

Thank you. BrieN. For pointing out the Philosophy tops at the Rack. I love nylon rich fabrics for their strength and easy care and will look for these. The only sizes avalable online are L, M, and XL. I need smaller sizes but maybe they will be availble in store.

Thanks greyscale, gigi, Joy, and Joyce B...great recommendations all!

I have a couple of bodysuits with T-necks that I think could work for you. The labels say "Monteray Bay", which I can't find online (but there are plenty of links to reptiles at a certain aquarium in Cali, lol). I think I picked them up at the Rack, so I searched Nordstrom's website for that brand. I didn't find them, but there are quite a few T-neck ls T-shirts that might work for you.

I have a "normal" (not bodysuit) long-sleeved T-neck that is pretty much all stretch. Label says Soft Surroundings.

I don't have this one, but it's described as a base for layering, so I would think it'd be a tight neck. I have other things from here that are good quality and lasted a long time. https://wintersilks.blair.com/...../86858.uts

Fashintern I have found some turtlenecks described as a base for layering have very loose necks, so it's pretty hit or miss. Thanks for the suggestions!

Did you find what you were looking for? I just came across this https://www.freepeople.com/sho.....;color=102
