I went out today and bought a new wool and cashmere toggle (coat) cardigan. I am layering this over turtlenecks or sweaters. In the store I tried it on over a cashmere turtle but once home I found that it looks too big over the thinner cotton turtles. It seems to me that the blending of the two textures with the wool demands a larger size.
What do you do? Any advice would be appreciated.

Edit = Sorry ladies, they called it that at the store but it is really just a cardigan. It seems to fit well with wool as it is textured but with cotton or silk seems big.
