oops, just realised it's spelled "Metalicus". It's an Australian brand started in the 1990s by a woman playing around with stocking fabric. Then it was basic layering pieces - became hugely popular and coveted in Australia (They were particularly visible when dresses over leggings were big IIRC). Now they've extended it into a whole wardrobe.
I took these pics off their Facebook in case anyone is curious: http://www.facebook.com/pages/.....8882450410
Anne, I also did a few Google searches and all I can find is how much people love Metalicus, down to their customer service (I find this intriguing, because I associate Mimco with the same era, market, covetability and styling - yet Google searches come up with Mimco quality disasters and terrible customer service).
Although I don't own any Metalicus the people I've seen wearing it looked great and it seems like the quality is good (people even wear it through pregnancy, I remember). I used to really want Metalicus but thought it too exxy but I now think it might be worth it.
