Laundry detergent for sensitive skin?

The detergent I always used...Woolite Complete...has changed to Woolite Everyday and now I'm getting itchy from it. It is not just a label change because it smells different too.

Any recs for laundry detergent for sensitive skin. Has to be approved for HE machines.

I use All Free and Clear liquid. There is a HE version. It doesn't make me itch, has no smell, and is gentle on clothes. Make sure you get the regular kind, not the one with oxyclean (especially if, like me, you are allergic to oxyclean!)

I second the All free and clear. I have a front load washer so use the he version. It has helped with my husbands skin issue.

I used All and double rinsed the loads. I think thorough rinsing is the key to sensitive skin and laundry detergent.

I use Arm and Hammer free and clear or Tide free and clear and I also double rinse.

Another vote for All Free and Clear. I have a friend with eczema problems who swears by 7th Generation (it is spendy). In a pinch, she likes Method. We washed my late father's clothing in Dreft because he had very tender skin due to kidney failure.

I use All Free and Clear also. Fragrance bothers my DH, and I have sensitive skin. This detergent works for both of us.

Do you go to Costco? The Kirkland brand detergent is also hypoallergenic, I believe. I used to use All free and clear as well. Neither gives me problems.

The BF has uber-detergent-sensitive skin that looks like a raised relief map, if we use anything with color or fragrance. We've been using the Kirkland's Ultra Clean Free & Clear for years with good success. At my place, I use All's version of a free & clear detergent (can't recall the exact name), and the BF hasn't had any issues. We use Bounce's dye- and fragrance-free dryer sheets.

Also, I never use the 'full' amount recommended by any detergent brand. I use 1/2 to 2/3 of that amount, and our clothes still come out very clean and fresh - and without soapy residue.

Arm and Hammer free and clear works for me. It is too harsh for DD2 and we had to switch to real soap that was scent free and dye free. Here is what I ordered and has worked for her.

We never use dryer sheets or fabric softener. My allergist said that both, but esp dryer sheets, are big allergens for many people for use to avoid. not sure if its the fragrance or what.

Our family uses All free and clear , if something needs a bit more deodorizing then it gets a handful or so of Borax thrown in the front load washer in with the clothes. We don't use dryer sheets or fabric softeners as they leave residue on fabrics,I get the itchies from it and towels can lose their absorbency capabilities . Also as a perfume collector I hate having a functional product clashing or putting limits on my choice of scent of the day(SOTD on fragrance enthusiast blogs).

I do use dryer sheets by the way. I use the same free+clear bounce ones that lbd recommended. I've never had an issue with them. I am a static monster in the winter and I absolutely need the static control they provide.
