Thanks so much for all of your nice comments!

@Sara: Thanks. I really like the long cardigan look. It works for my climate and provides an extra layer of armor at work! I’ve found the lighter cardigans work the best. My favorites are the inexpensive ones I’ve picked up at TJmaxx.

@rachy: Thank you!

@Adriana: Thank you. I was least confident about the moto. Something about that style makes me feel like a poser but I figure the more I wear it, the more I’ll feel like I own it. I’m more cowboy than urban, I suppose.

@jussie: Thank you. I’m definitely not a dress queen but I’m glad that these work.

@ChristelJ: Thank you. Glad there are BF jeans lovers out there still. They are the most comfortable. I wish I could find a duplicate for my old Gap ones. The scarf/shawl is a handknit--thank you for noticing. It can be worn with the point in the back or on the side--it’s great for in the office because the way it’s knit (in the round) makes it stay in place.

@Sal: Thank you! Always nice to hear that I look appropriate for my environment. I’m happy that it comes across as simple and rugged. I like that!

@JAileen: Haha! Thanks. I love to hear that it looks like me. It makes me feel like I have an identifiable style

@Tex: Thank you!

@Bj111: Thanks, that is so nice to hear especially since I aspire to dress like you someday! I’d definitely have to find a new field.

@Angie: Thank you SO much--that’s such a nice compliment. You have helped me hone my style for sure!

@joy: Thank you. I hope your appliances are more reliable than mine. I’ve been so disappointed with Kitchen Aid. I do love the tile though.

@Laura: Thank you. I couldn’t resist the leopard collar. It makes me feel sort of glamorous. I think Prince would approve.

@Shevia: Thank you. I’m growing my hair out for a wedding in May. I’ve been experimenting with beachy waves and giving it a break from the flat iron. Glad it looks somewhat intentional.

@Brooklyn: Thank you. I think earthy colors go more with my personality but every once in awhile it’s fun to mix it up. As a mood dresser, I like to have options.

@jessikams: Haha! I’ve scaled a few ladders in a skirt and I’ve since learned my lesson. I used to keep boots and jeans in the car but now I just dress for it. The exceptions are the days I know I’m not going anywhere.

@Jane: Thank you. I love elegantly rugged!

@lyn67: That’s so nice of you, lyn! Thank you. I love hearing that it looks “Kelly.” I like blending in but it’s nice to know there’s something that gives it a little twist that makes it me! So, thank you for that!

@viva: Thank you! I’ve struggled with descriptors and finally settled on rugged polish or elegant tomboy (thanks to Angie.) I get a lot of “cowgirl” at work from coworkers--which always cracks me up. I’d never guess you were an emotional dresser because you always look so immaculate and have such an identifiable style! (I think lots of us are emotional buyers.)

@April: Aww, thanks so much!

@Katerina: Thank you. That’s a high compliment from someone as stylish as you!

@cardiff girl: haha! Thanks. My boots are my pride and joy. I’m happy with everything and make sure they all get their turns!

@smittie: Thank you. I was so done with plaid last year that I gave it all away but something about the drape and silhouette of that dress style lured me in. (I think I’m just done with flannel.) Haha--yes, standing out is scary. I’m so excited about your OTKs. Do we get to see them in action? Those are sweeeet, BTW!

@Kate: Thank you!

@Laurie: Thank you! That’s so nice of you to say but as for bodycon--haha, that ship has sailed! MDAL.

@bijou: I had a feeling you might be an emotional dresser. You have such a varied style yet everything you wear looks like you. You have such a great range! Thank you for the very kind compliments!

@Aquamarine: Thank you!

@RobinF: Haha. Right? I knew someone could relate. It’s all in my head, I know, but...
