Last minute formal party shopping!

Hi friends. It's been ages and ages since I've been active around here. Life has been more than hectic to say the least. In any case, I'm hoping you'll be willing to help me decide in which shoes to get for a party I have to go to tonight. Yes, I'm really waiting until TODAY to find shoes. Do either of these shoes work for this dress? Is one better than another? The silver shoes are a lower heel and a bit more
comfortable. The black heels are quite high but doable for a party shoe, but are they too high to be tasteful? It's an awards dinner for my husband's office. Or do I keep looking? I'll carry a silver clutch. Thoughts?

Either works with the dress. The silver may be more versatile and comfortable over time. If you are okay with the open toe, it might make sense to go silver and more comfortable. Somehow these events tend to involve more standing than you think. Have fun. You will look beautiful either way.

Thanks everyone! I bought both and will try both on with the dress and see which looks best. I have to admit that my feet have become increasingly fussy and the silver may win out for comforts sake!
