last day I can return this Banana Rep Purse! Keep or return?

It is a long story but my husband bought me a purse for Xmas and then I returned it and got this one. So I have 'purse money' so to speak to buy another purse if this isn't 'the one'. Btw, I got this for 40 % off on one of the BR promo days. So for what it matters I think I only paid about $115 for it or something...

Anyways, I like it but I've had it for 45 days sitting in my house and not worn it because I want to be sure. So I really value any thoughts on this purse. I keep things for a long time, especially a purse that is this nice.

Do you like it? Does it look at all goofy with all the pockets?

Again, thanks so much for your help on this one! today is the last day I can return it for my $$$ back.

I really like the shape of the bag, but the pockets are not my thing. Do you like or need all those pockets up front? That would be my deciding factor.

Well, as a MOTG I could probably use the pockets. I just wonder if they wil make me look like I have a pocket fetish LOL!

My cons on the purse are:
-it is large. Things WILL get lost in it
-the pockets - are they overkill?

My loves are:
-color goes with everything
-braided detail on strap
-BR leather goods really last

I'm leaning towards keeping. I think I will probably use it. It is quite casual looking though, no?

Khris/ chewy - I don't love it but I have not seen anything out there I love. Maybe I can grow to love this one, I like it but I'm not in purse love with it. My main question is does it look goofy with the pockets?

I'd return it, especially if you're not in purse love. Only buy what you love.

I really like the bag and the pockets, but it has been sitting idle for a month and a half, I would return it and keep an eye out for something that you love.

Oh man, I just added this bag to my wishlist a couple of days ago, and you got it at an amazing price. I love the look of it in the photo with the mannequin. But do YOU love it? If it's maybe, what about trying it out and just reselling it if you don't? I noticed some bags from BR were going for decent prices on ebay.

I so appreciate all of you weighing in! I think what keeps me coming back to it is that luscious color and the strap. Plus the positive experience I have had with BR leather goods. Must.make.decision.

I have to say that I do think the pockets look a bit goofy. Goofy in that they seem unnecessary both practically and decoratively. I vote to return- for that price you can get something you love. Is the cognac the color you adore? If so, there are many cognac bags around. I also love that color.

The pockets do make it look a little busy, but my main question is whether they might create more confusion than organization? I'm wondering if it would be frustrating to try and remember which pocket contained what.

I'm struggling with this same issue on a totally different purse. I like pockets and organization, but for some reason I think I'd love this one more with maybe just the bottom two.

Thanks again everyone for helping me make up my ever indecisive mind. I really mean it! I keep bugging my husband about this and he is no help!

San, I do like a large purse, I end up carrying so many things when we are out and I had a rep tell me BR tests their bags by loading them with 50 lbs and shaking them up and down 400 times and if it lasts through that it passes one of their tests. (Not that anyone should carry 50 lbs in a handbag!)

Also, I called the luxe line and they said I have a couple more days to make up my mind, I was thinking I was on day 45 but I've got about 2 more days. These are selling out fast so I don't want to return it and then kick myself later. Plus, I did use the 40 % off coupon.

Has anyone seen any outstanding hobo purses?

At first look, I wasn't sure about all the pockets. However, after looking at the mannequin photo, I really like it.

I agree with the returners. If you haven't used it in 45 days, why would you start now? I'm sure BR has other bags you'll like more. If I spend $114 on something I have to feel 100% sure of it, and you obviously don't.

I like it, but $100 is a significant investment to be on the fence. I'd return it and wait for the one that really grabs you! If you have to talk yourself into it, you'll never be completely happy. You'll carry the bag a lot, so be ruthless about finding what you love.
