Yikes, between the red eye and funny expressions, this was not my best photo session! But the boots are the focus, so here we go!
The shafts on these are definitely narrower and shorter, making them more bootie-like. And the heels are taller, which I like. They are also a textured (sueded?) black leather instead of distressed gray. However, they have the same wire in the spats that allows you to fold them down and reveal the laces beneath. These laces are functional, too, so I can tighten and loosen the shaft. They are pictured here with the shaft laced and buckled as tight as they will go. The laces are better for my narrow feet, and my heels don't slip. They definitely fit under bootcut jeans.
Sooo... I guess it all comes down to looks. What do you think?
