Maybe you could add some individual lashes (instead of a full strip) if you don't want an unnatural look (like at the corners)? Do let us know how it goes though - good luck!
I've never had lash extensions but I do lash lifts instead - similar procedures & precautions though (eyes closed for an hour, no water for 24 hours, no oils, no rubbing your eyes after etc). I was scared at first to have anything so close to my eyes, but I am used to it now. The results usually last me 8 weeks, but I suspect that's because I don't usually wear any makeup - I use it in lieu of mascara to help me look more 'awake'.
I've heard good things about tubing mascara, though, if you aren't interested in the traditional ones that require rubbing etc to get them off (especially with extensions installed).
