landsend swimsuits... size up or true to size?

I'm not sure if I should choose based on the size chart, or size up like Angie says.

Ok... so I should size up one size? Angie says 2 sizes... I'm planning on ordering mulitiple sizes, so I guess both. LOL

If it's any help, I wear an 8 in Gap Jeans, and I'm a 34C, and I generally take a 10 on the bikini bottoms and an 8 on a bikini/tankini top from Land's End.

I've found going up one size is enough in swimsuits unless you are trying Miracle suits, which tend to run smaller and need to be sized up two sizes. The only consideration you might want to factor in is length. I recently ordered a couple of suits from Lands End in my normal swimsuit size (one up from my normal clothing size) and the length was far too short....I needed a long torso, although I'm pretty well-proportioned.

I think your plan to order a bunch of sizes is a wise one...just make sure to order a few long torsos for comparison.

Ok.... according to measurements, I'm a 6 on top and and a 2 on the bottom. I don't know why, but there it is. So I'm thinking I'll order tops in 8 and 10, bottoms in 4 and 6, and a one piece in 8 and 10. Does that sound right?

Sounds good. You might also want to consider a long torso 8 in the one piece...just speaking from experience!

Well, I'm only 5'1" so I'd be pretty surprised if I needed a long torso. LOL

I just remembered that I'm a 2 in the hips and a 10 in the waist. [rolling eyes] So... who knows. Maybe I should call them and ask.
