lamest WIW ever--just an excuse to show you my new shoes

I have been seriously struggling with my style mojo these days and it's not cutting it. But I did experience delight in seeing and trying on my oh-so-comfy awesome Bed-Stü sneakers that arrived today. Two pairs! I am not sure the brown are keep-worthy (though they were cheap and appear versatile, so I'll probably keep them). But I love the pink ones. BTW they don't portray accurately as brown in the pic, but they're a soft, pretty cocoa brown color. Really comfortable and perfect for summer.

I only hope they don't give me clown feet--something I never used to worry about!

One should never feel the need to make excuses to share new shoes!!

I think the pink is kind of funky cool. I don't see any clown feet either.

Awesome pink shoes! They look so comfy - no clown feet at all. The brown ones are a nice alternative to boat shoes when you need brown.

Ha, Claire! You funny (and punny). I'm sneak-wearing them right now (sneak, because we do things Japanese-style here, and no shoes in the house, but these are brand-new so perfectly clean, right?) It's sometimes weird that with the extra support, your foot can feel even more snug and comfy in a shoe than when it's bare...it feels nice...

I suspect the pink will get washed out in the sun and maybe last a season, but at $28 it's still worth it to me. I still haven't gotten around to trying on some Cons. Last time I owned some was back in college...I loved them but remember them not giving my feet any arch or ankle support (I had the basketball high-tops). Should try again, though.

Now some cute sandals and I'm probably set...as long as our summer weather is more predictable than it's been the past few months!

Those look fun for summer. Like an updated ked - love the two tone.

If you do try Cons, one of the great things about them is that they will accommodate an orthotic or foot support thing easily.

I hope you feel better soon, too. And I would vote for allowing a special pair of clean new shoes in the house. It's so much better for your feet! My feet are always wrecked after the summer, because it gets so hot in our house that I can't tolerate shoes on (not even a sandal). Hope hubby is doing better!

I think the pink shoes are super cute. The brown ones sound nice but you're right that the photo isn't picking up the color.

Oh, Mochi, how utterly adorable! I'd definitely keep both. The pink is as pretty as a flower, of course, and could be super spunky too; but how many people get velvety warm cocoa for their *feet* (short of a spa).

Hope your arm's healing well, and hubby too. Take your time getting back in your stride; just don't neglect yourself.
