Lace is not something I would usually wear but I've been wanting to try it. This jacket looks like it could be a fun way to wear it. What do you think?
Ooh, fun! I like it. It does look a bit dressy but then daytime sparkle has been trendy recently, AFAIK, so you could probably get away with dressing it down with jeans, etc.
To me it looked dressy; I could see it as a part of a holiday outfit or with a shell and a pencil skirt for a very polished work look.
What I'm trying to imagine is whether I could make it work with something like colored jeans and a tee for my casual lifestyle. I think it could, but I'm still in the learning stages as far as putting things like that together.
This is a beautiful jacket, Susie, definitely worth a try!
I agree with Dana, you could dress it up or down. White, blue or black jeans and a striped tee or sweater. Boyfriend jeans, slouchy khakis, a plaid button-down, patterned trousers... more casual footwear...
The sleeves on this are regular length vs. moto length, so maybe this would work! The lace looks heavy and in almost a reptilian pattern so to my eye it looks pretty versatile.
You could do a denim shirt under it for casual, too. I love that it's metallic. I think you should totally give it a try. The style and sheen kind of balance the sweetness of the lace.
I would definitely try to style it in a casual way. I think it could work really well with jeans, booties and a tee. I think it's fun to combine a dressier piece like this with more casual ones.
